Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualised treatment plans
• Support patients to improve function, mobility, independence, and daily living skills
• Provide evidence‑based interventions across acute and rehabilitative settings
• Accurately document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, and home programmes
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, nurses, and other care team members
• Demonstrate professional competency and strong clinical reasoning in all interactions

Schedule Details

• Day Shift: 10‑hour days
• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• Permanent placement

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy educational programme
• Active or eligible Arizona Occupational Therapist Licence
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
• OTR Certification (Occupational Therapist Registered) preferred
• Minimum one year of previous hospital experience preferred
• Proficient in patient‑care software and electronic documentation systems
• Willingness to relocate to Yuma, AZ if not local
• Strong communication, patient‑care, and clinical decision‑making skills
