Key Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and implementing patients’ occupational therapy plans

• Provide therapy to improve independence in daily living, motor skills, and functional ability

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulations

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy exercises and progress

• Participate in team meetings and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active North Carolina OTA license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
