Key Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapists in evaluating and treating patients

• Implement individualized therapy plans to improve daily living skills and functional independence

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques

• Collaborate with OTs and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes

• Participate in discharge planning and team meetings

Requirements

• Active New Mexico COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program

• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
