Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Band 6

Location: James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Area: East Anglia NHS

Salary: £Negotiable

Job Type: Locum

Contract Length: Ongoing

Job Details: Occupational Therapist required for Acute Medicine.

     

  • Provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention within Acute Medical wards
     

  • Manage a varied caseload of patients with complex medical presentations
     

  • Complete functional assessments to support safe and timely discharge planning
     

  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
     

  • Recommend and arrange appropriate equipment and support services
     

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Skills / Experience:

     

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
     

  • Experience working within an acute hospital setting, ideally Acute Medicine
     

  • Strong discharge planning and clinical reasoning skills
     

  • Ability to manage own caseload autonomously
