London Borough of Waltham Forest Council is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on undertaking Best Interest Assessments and providing specialist occupational therapy, including equipment and adaptations, to support patient independence and recovery.

Undertake Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements

Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients

Deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual needs within general medicine settings

Recommend and facilitate equipment and adaptations to promote safe and independent living

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

Support patients and families with guidance, education, and practical advice to optimise outcomes
