Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer an exciting travel opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Great Bend, KS. This position consists a choice of five 8-hour day shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours paying $28 to $43 hourly.

Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic purposes

Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to capture images

Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort

Collaborate with physicians and technologists to interpret imaging requirements

Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures

Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance

Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment
Requirements ;of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT(N)

Valid Kanas state licensure ;

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety standards

Excellent communication and patient care skills
