Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer an exciting travel opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Great Bend, KS. This position consists a choice of five 8-hour day shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours paying $28 to $43 hourly.

Key Responsibilities of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

• Prepare and administer radioactive drugs for diagnostic imaging and therapeutic purposes

• Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine equipment to capture images

• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort

• Collaborate with physicians and technologists to interpret imaging requirements

• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment

Requirements ;of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

• Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT(N)

• Valid Kanas state licensure ;

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and safety standards

• Excellent communication and patient care skills
