Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols and safety guidelines

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images

• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information

• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information

• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control policies

Requirements

• Valid North Carolina Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or equivalent certification

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in nuclear medicine technology
