Key Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic procedures

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment including PET/CT and SPECT cameras

• Perform diagnostic imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and safety standards

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure comfort during procedures

• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation in PACS and EMR systems

• Comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations for radiation safety and infection control

• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to ensure quality results

Qualifications

• ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required

• California State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

• BLS certification required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred

• Proficiency with imaging systems, radiopharmaceutical handling, and safety protocols

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
