Key Responsibilities of the MRI Technologist

Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
-
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring safety and comfort
-
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret imaging needs

Follow safety protocols for magnetic field exposure and contrast administration

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
-
Ensure equipment functionality through regular inspections and maintenance reporting

Comply with HIPAA and hospital imaging standards
Requirements

ARRT (MRI) certification
-
Valid Massachusetts state licensure (if required)

Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist

Proficiency in MRI protocols and equipment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
