MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities of an MRI Technologist

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following safety and quality protocols

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and patient care

• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within hospital systems

• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policy standards

Requirements

• Valid MRI Technologist certification and Georgia state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)

• ARRT (MR) certification preferred

• Current BLS certification required

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent MRI technologist experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment
