Key Responsibilities

As a Mammography Technologist, you will:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms in accordance with physician orders and ACR guidelines

• Ensure proper positioning, technique, and radiation safety for optimal image quality

• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in electronic health systems

• Prepare and educate patients on the exam process in a calm, professional manner

• Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance processes

• Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment as needed

• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff for timely results and patient care coordination

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (ARRT M)

• Valid California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

• 1+ year of experience in mammography preferred

• CPR/BLS certification

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient service skills

• Familiarity with MQSA and ACR standards
