Key Responsibilities of a Travel Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

• Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

• Assisting residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and transferring techniques.

• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.

• Responding promptly to residents’ needs and requests, ensuring their comfort and safety.

• Assisting with medication management, ensuring residents receive the correct medication at the scheduled time.

• Reporting any changes in residents’ condition or concerns to the nursing team.

• Documenting accurate and detailed records of residents’ care and progress.

• Following all healthcare regulations, protocols, and facility policies and procedures.

Requirements of the ;Travel Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Valid NY Certfied Nursing Assistant (CNA) Licence

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Long Term Care setting as an CNA
