Key Responsibilities of the Lead Medical Technologist:

• Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory during night shifts, ensuring accurate and timely test results

• Perform complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including hematology, chemistry, and microbiology

• Review and validate test results, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure quality control standards are met

• Supervise and mentor lab staff, providing training and guidance as needed

• Maintain compliance with all hospital, CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care support

• Assist in maintaining inventory, evaluating new equipment, and implementing process improvements

Requirements of the Lead Medical Technologist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

• Oklahoma state licensure (if applicable)

• 1+ years of related experience. ;

• In-depth knowledge of laboratory instruments, testing procedures, and quality systems

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
