Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Nursing – Women/Family Center, you will:

• Oversee clinical operations for labor & delivery, postpartum, nursery, and women’s services

• Lead nursing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards

• Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and performance goals

• Support evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with senior leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact license eligible)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred

• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in women’s health or maternal-child nursing

• 3+ years of nursing leadership or management experience

• Strong understanding of perinatal care, patient safety standards, and team management

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
