Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Surgical and Cardiovascular Services, you will:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for surgical services, cath lab, and cardiovascular units

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management across departments

• Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams

• Lead quality initiatives to ensure clinical excellence and patient safety

• Implement process improvements, enhance workflow efficiency, and monitor KPIs

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards

• Mentor and develop nurse managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and growth

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (or compact license)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 3+ years in nursing leadership in surgical or cardiovascular services

• Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols, cardiovascular care, and regulatory compliance

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
