Director of Nursing (DON)

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to oversee Med-Surg, Rehab, and Surgical departments for a respected healthcare facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Nursing, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership over multiple inpatient departments, including Med‑Surg, Rehab, and Surgical Services
• Oversee clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and departmental performance
• Mentor and support nurse managers, supervisors, and frontline staff
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold patient safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership to enhance workflows and patient outcomes
• Participate in weekend staffing or leadership coverage as needed
• Support holiday operations on a rotating schedule

Schedule Details

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Weekends: Works as needed
Holidays: Rotational coverage

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 5 years of inpatient nursing supervision experience
• At least 2 years of director-level experience overseeing multiple departments
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement
• Deep understanding of inpatient workflows, quality metrics, and regulatory standards
