Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Nursing (DON) for a full-time, permanent leadership role in Perioperative Services at a well-established healthcare facility in Detroit, Michigan. Key Responsibilities
As Director of Perioperative Services, you will:

• Lead and manage all aspects of perioperative operations including OR, Pre-op, PACU, and Sterile Processing

• Direct nursing practice, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality initiatives across surgical departments

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and department heads to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Drive performance improvement and process optimization to enhance safety, efficiency, and satisfaction

• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and hospital regulations and standards

• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous professional growth among nursing staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan (or compact license eligibility)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related field) preferred

• Minimum 5 years of perioperative nursing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role

• Strong understanding of perioperative protocols, compliance, and clinical operations

• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills
