Key Responsibilities
As the Director of Nursing – Cardiac Cath Lab, you will:

• Oversee daily operations of the cardiac catheterization lab, including scheduling, staffing, and budgeting

• Lead and support clinical staff in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care

• Ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and adherence to best practices

• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to improve workflow and outcomes

• Monitor quality metrics, address operational issues, and lead continuous improvement efforts

• Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to nursing staff

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida (or compact state eligibility)

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN or MHA) preferred

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in a cardiac or procedural care setting

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, protocols, and equipment

• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
