Clinical Staff Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Staff Pharmacist, your duties will include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness
• Preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
• Serving as a clinical resource for physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Providing medication counselling and supporting transitions of care
• Performing sterile compounding and supporting IV room operations as required
• Monitoring drug therapies, interactions, and dose adjustments
• Maintaining documentation in compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy practise legislation

Schedule Details

• Full time: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Variable, as assigned according to departmental needs
• Permanent placement

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) qualification required
• Minimum of one year post-graduate hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgement and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
