Key Responsibilities

As the CNS for Critical Care/Neonatal ICU, you will:

• Serve as a clinical expert and consultant to nurses and interdisciplinary teams

• Promote evidence-based practices in the care of critically ill and neonatal patients

• Lead staff development initiatives and provide bedside education and mentorship

• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety programs

• Assist in policy development and implementation related to critical care and NICU protocols

• Collaborate with nursing leadership, educators, and physicians to drive clinical excellence

• Analyze patient outcome data and implement strategies for improved performance metrics

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license with CNS designation

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with CNS focus

• Certification in Critical Care or Neonatal Nursing preferred (e.g., CCRN, C-NNIC, CNS-BC)

• 3+ years of experience in a critical care and/or neonatal intensive care unit

• Proven leadership, mentorship, and project management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
