Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Histotechnician

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Histotechnician to join a respected healthcare facility in White Plains, New York. Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role as a CLS or Histotechnician, you will:

• Perform diagnostic testing with precision, adhering to CLIA and NYS standards
• Prepare, process, and analyse specimens in accordance with laboratory protocols
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and accurately
• Document and report results in a timely and compliant manner
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support high-quality patient care
• Demonstrate strict adherence to infection control and safety guidelines

Schedule Details

• All shift availability
• 24 hours per week
• Permanent position

Qualifications

If applying as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS):

• Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist Licence or NYS Pathologist Assistant Licence
• Education meeting NYS Office of Professions and CLIA testing personnel requirements
• ASCP certification preferred

If applying as a Histotechnician:

• Active NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician Licence or NYS Histotechnician Licence
• Degree in Medical Technology or related science preferred
• One year of relevant hospital histology experience preferred
• ASCP certification preferred

Additional Requirements

• Influenza vaccination required — no exemptions
