Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Histotechnician

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Histotechnician to join a respected hospital system in White Plains, New York. Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role (CLS or Histotechnician), your duties will include:

• Performing accurate and timely laboratory analyses to support diagnosis and treatment
• Processing, preparing, and analysing specimens in compliance with CLIA, NYSDOH, and facility standards
• Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation
• Documenting all procedures, results, and quality control measures
• Collaborating with pathologists, technologists, and clinical teams
• Upholding strict safety, compliance, and infection-control guidelines

Schedule Details

Full-time – Monday to Friday

• Day Shift: 09:00 – 17:00
• Evening Shift: 14:00 – 22:00

Qualifications

If applying as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS):

• Current NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist Licence or NYS Pathologist Assistant (PA) Licence
• Education meeting NYS Office of Professions and CLIA requirements
• ASCP certification preferred

If applying as a Histotechnician:

• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician Licence or NYS Histotechnician Licence
• Degree in Medical Technology or related science preferred
• One year of hospital histology experience preferred
• ASCP certification preferred
