Description: Specialty: Cardiac Cath LabFacility: Virginia Mason Medical CenterState License: WACerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: 1 year(s)Shift: 10H Days 4×10-hour shifts weekly + call. 6:30a-5p or 7a-5:30p Mon-Fri with call requiredGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours per weekDescription: Unit Notes:*Clinical Profile Review and then the manager will call for the interview***MUST have WA license at time of submittal!**- MUST provide traveler Radiation Badge – facility will not provide. *Day Shift MUST pay for parking – hospital does not reimburse them.*- # suites/labs: 2 Cath Lab Suites- #cases per day on average: 8-10 approx.- Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): BLS, ARRT (CI) or (CV), and/or RCIS – ACLS preferred, WA license – Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, Structural Heart (Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman), PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertion, Impella-assisted PCI or implantation, etc- Job Duties: Scrub & Monitor cases – Experience or ‘Must have’ skills: Okay with 1 year of experience. Travel experience highly preferred not required. Cath Lab experience required in both Scrub & Monitor roles, prefer experience Structural Heart cases- EMR/Equipment: MacLab, Cerner- Cardiologist hours/on call: On call overnights and weekends- Manager/Charge Nurse: Manager and Daily Cath Lab Point RN or Tech (Charge)- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 4 10-hour shifts weekly + call. 6:30a-5p or 7a-5:30p Mon-Fri. No self-scheduling-leadership assigned. Travel RN’s and Travel Techs must be flexible to work Mon-Fri- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Approx 1 weeknight call weekly. EOD-7am- Weekend/Call Requirements: Approx 1-2 weekend call monthly (Fri 5:30p-Mon 7a)- Holiday/Call Requirements: N/A – Currently staff are assigned to Holiday Call- What is call response time?: 30 minutes- Floating Requirements: Currently not floating outside Cath Lab unless otherwise arranged (ie Cath Lab & EP experience may allow flexibility between both areas) – Will be stated in submission. – Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital periop/procedural scrubs provided daily upon arrival to work- Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 week including General Hospital Orientation (3 days on-unit) and weekend Buddy Call.
