Cath Lab Technologist

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois offering a weekly total of $4,000. This day shift (4x10s) position is ideal for technologists who excel in fast-paced cardiac catheterization labs and are confident assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions

• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment (fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitors, etc.)

• Scrub in and circulate during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations as needed

• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures

• Accurately document procedural details and assist with post-procedural care

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS certification required

• Active Illinois state license or eligibility (as applicable)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab

• Proficient in both scrub and monitor roles

• Excellent technical, communication, and critical-thinking skills

• Comfortable working 10-hour day shifts in a high-volume lab
