Minimum Experience: 1.5 years general nursing (system requirement)
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, only if greater than 2 years of experience
Travelers must live >100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
Hours: 0800-1630
Patient Types:
Case Managers provide care for patients in all the acute care departments
Patient Ratios:
1 CM to 16-20 patients
Required Certifications:
BLS
Education Required:
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) – South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required:
Previous discharge planning and Acute Care Case Management experience, progression of care, experience meeting with families and discussing plans of care
