Key Responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Technologist:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other cardiovascular procedures

• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and understanding of the process

• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment in accordance with established protocols

• Record and analyze diagnostic data for interpretation by physicians

• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control standards

• Accurately document procedures, patient responses, and outcomes in the EMR system

• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements of the Cardiovascular Technologist:

• Active ARRT (CV) or RCIS certification

• Oklahoma state license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

• 1+ years of recent cardiovascular or cath lab experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to thrive in high-acuity settings
