Key Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Sonographer, you will:

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures based on physician orders

• Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding

• Operate ultrasound and Doppler equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images

• Collaborate with cardiologists and other clinical staff to interpret results and deliver timely reports

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is completed in EMR systems

• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and quality standards

• Support patient-centered care through professionalism and compassionate interaction

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in echocardiography or vascular technology required

• New York State license or eligibility to practice as a sonographer

• BLS certification required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular ultrasound preferred

• Proficiency with ultrasound technology and strong attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
