Key Responsibilities
As the Administrative Director of Nursing – Emergency Services, you will:

• Oversee the clinical, operational, and strategic direction of emergency nursing services

• Lead staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives

• Partner with executive leadership, ED physicians, and cross-functional teams to align goals

• Ensure high standards in patient safety, satisfaction, and throughput metrics

• Guide emergency preparedness efforts and regulatory compliance

• Mentor nurse leaders and clinical teams to foster growth, engagement, and accountability

• Develop long-term strategies for departmental innovation and excellence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact license eligible)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC and ENPC preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred

• Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience, including emergency department oversight

• Demonstrated success in managing operations, improving outcomes, and leading change

• Strong communication, leadership, and financial management skills
