Self-Care Summer:
Now more than ever, it’s important to put yourself first so you can continue helping your communities! AMN Healthcare’s team recently went live to discuss self-care summer. They discussed available resources and steps you can take to make yourself a priority. Whether that means taking time off between assignments, talking to a counselor, or traveling to a brand-new destination, they believe in helping you so you can continue to serve the communities you’re a part of.
About the Presenters:
Host/Presenter: Saundra Vild –Saundra.Vild@amnhealthcare.com: Saundra started at AMN Healthcare in 2015 as a travel nurse recruiter. Over the last seven years, she has contributed to the organization’s success by training recruiters on how to build connections with nurses and grow their desks!
Presenter: Avena Fields-Avena.Fields@nursechoice.com: Avena Fields White is a Senior Placement Manager at NurseChoice. She started with AMN Healthcare in 2014 in the customer support department and transitioned to Nurse Choice as a Placement Consultant in 2016. She has since been promoted to the highest level as Senior Placement Manager II. Avena enjoys public speaking, writing poetry, short stories, and drama.
Presenter: Russell Morris – Russell.Morris@americanmobile.com: Russell began his career with AMN Healthcare in 2016. After exploring a different career path, he found his way back to the AMN team in 2021. He currently works with 40 nurses and has taken on leadership responsibilities, mentors current recruiters, and is a part of internal communities at AMN. Outside of work, Russell loves spending time outdoors with his two children, Janelle and Wes.
Presenter/AMN Traveler: Ann King- Ann started her travel nurse journey almost three years ago and has never looked back! She enjoys the freedom and work-life balance that travel nursing provides. When she’s not in the ICU, you can find her at T.J. Maxx or catching up on her favorite Bravo dramas.
