The Brave of Heart Fund: financial and emotional support for families of healthcare workers lost to Covid
Topic Description:
The Brave of Heart Fund was founded by the Foundations of New York Life and Cigna with charitable partner E4E Relief to provide financial grants and emotional support services to families of eligible healthcare workers, volunteers, and support staff who lost their lives in the fight against COVID-19.
Due to a nurse’s heroic work during the pandemic, the family member responsible for their funeral expenses may be eligible for a $15,000 Brave of Heart Fund grant to pay for those costs. Our Fund may also support their financial dependents with a second grant of up to $60,000 to provide for longer-term living expenses.
Join this session to learn how we are supporting the families of our fallen healthcare heroes and how you can spread the word to help take care of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in taking care of us.
The Brave of Heart Fund has supported nearly 600 families in 41 states. With your help, more families of healthcare heroes can receive much-needed support.
