Positive Facility Review!Unit: Pulmonary MS/Tele, 36 beds (no PCUs at the hospital, so a pretty wide range of acuity)Scrub color: White tops, black, navy, or red bottomsCharting: EPICIV Pumps: AlarisMedication dispenser: OmnicellOrientation: One day of virtual orientation, one day of EPIC training, one day of extra equipment training. A couple basic tests, no ECG test. 3 shifts of floor orientation. Organized and easy onboarding process!Patient ratios: Days: 1: 3-5, typically 4. Nights: 1: 4-5, very rarely 6. CNAs have 4-7 patients which was amazing.Scheduling: self-scheduled with unit secretary after staff had chosen their shifts. Zero call-offs or rate decreases.Floating: Floated one time in nine months.Parking: Travelers have a free garage about 1/3 mile from the hospital.Everyone was super helpful, friendly, and appreciative of travelers, and all sorts of resources were readily available.
