RN6 to 1 ratio and some are extreme. Always short on techs and sometimes nurses. Charges have to take up to 6 patients if a nurse does not show up. They are always running out of supplies. Things like normal saline, LR, IV kits, Lancets, BG test strips. The patients are not easy either. You will run for what little money they give you. A manager actually said in an all staff meeting "Some of you think we should be grateful that you came to work, well it is the other way around, you should be grateful you have a job" TOXIC management. I kept my head down and counted down the days. Oh sometimes you will have 6 to 1 ratio and not even have a tech. They don't care. But on those days, they bring pizza and candy to you....... Until they raise their rates by 1000 a week, I wont go back. It is that hard.Nope, Nurse Valdosta
