RNThe people I worked with were fun and amazing but the floor layout is exasperating, you literally have to walk a mile to go get supplies that are not on the floor. The Ratio is 1:6 and the acuity is high. This is pod nursing at its worst. Very often, I had five total cares out of the six patients in the pod. I did talk with other travel nurses who were on different floors and had better ratios and better experiences… But 6K is a pretty rough floor.
