I was hired to work in one of their free standing ERs. The staff was wonderful, both nurses and doctors. I enjoyed my time there. A month before the end of my second contract there, they cancelled my contract and pulled their listings from my agency’s website. They did not notify me or my agency. The unit manager just told the charge nurse that my contract was cancelled and that I would not be in that night. No explanation was given at all and they left it to the poor charge nurse to text me all that.The nursing shift supervisor refused to give me a number for the unit manager. The number that I had was for a VP that did not answer my calls or texts. I was given a number to a person I could not identify who also did not return my calls. I finally asked the shift supervisor to record the event so I would not be a no call no show. It was all very unprofessional and quite a shabby way to end a contract.
