Baptist Health Lexington demonstrates an appalling disregard for its travel staff. I was treated like a third-world citizen from the moment I stepped on the unit. They abruptly canceled my contract and made outright baseless allegations after attempting to float me to work as a sitter—an assignment entirely outside the scope of what I was contracted for.The week prior, I worked a full 12-hour shift without a single lunch break, without a moment to use the bathroom, and without any assistance whatsoever. No help turning or boosting my patient, no support from the staff—nothing. I was left to fend for myself while trying to provide safe patient care under impossible conditions.The level of disrespect, negligence, and disregard for both travelers and patient safety is absolutely unacceptable.
