If I could rate a zero I would. Manager is distant and not approachable. The medication profiles do not match MD orders and pharmacy cannot fix, so nurses are expected to override multiple medications per day, including controlled substances. All of this is complicated by a very user UNfriendly EMR, which is complicated. Each RN there seems to have their own way of doing things. When asked for the documentation standard, I received multiple different answers as to what the facility required (note I'm not talking about nursing standards, but which facility specific things they wanted on each patient regardless of condition - there was a lot). The manager is very blatant with favoritism. It is a unionized hospital, so she will extend support to her staff nurses first, last, and always. My contract was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. I only found out because I asked my recruiter to get in touch with them about something. As of this writing they are still refusing to tell me why I was cancelled.Auburn itself is a very unsafe town. There are 2 safe hotels to stay at. I went to get food at a local spot and overheard a server tell a customer it isn't safe to leave his dog outside "because of all the crackheads". 10/10 would not advise.
