RESPONSIBILITIES: ;
Ambulatory Care Clinic RNs, also called outpatient nurses, provide treatment under the supervision of a physician or advanced practice nurse. Outpatient RNS job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ; ;
- Provide ongoing general medical services to patients within the clinic ; ;
- Perform physical exams and gather patient history ;
- Administer treatments such as immunizations and blood draw ;
- Outpatient RN educate patients about chronic diseases such as asthma or diabetes ;
