Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients’ speech and language needs

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

• Provide treatment to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulations

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Strong communication, assessment, and treatment planning skills

• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred
