We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Looked After Children (LAC) Social Worker to join our team in Bexley. This role is crucial in providing support and advocacy for children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Child-Centered Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of the needs and circumstances of looked after children, ensuring their voices are central to the planning process.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that promote the health, education, and emotional well-being of children in care.
- Support and Advocacy: Provide ongoing support and advocacy for looked after children, ensuring their rights are upheld and their needs are met.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with foster carers, schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to deliver coordinated and effective support for children.
