The Surgery Dept encompasses all areas such as pre/intra/post op & clinic and flexibility to all is required. On Call/Call Back Requirements: 1 week of call every 3-4 weeks; 30-min response timeRequired Certifications: IA RN, BLS, ACLS, PALSMinimum Experience: 2 years in specialty area. Previous experience working in Critical Access Hospital is beneficial.Charting Experience Required: EPIC experience preferredRequired Skillset: Ability to circulate and/or scrubUnit Information: GI, Ortho, Cataracts, Podiatry, Vascular, Pain Clinic, OB/GYNPrimary Cases: GI – colonoscopy/EGD; lap chole, appy, c-sectionsNurse to Patient Ratio: 1:2 typically for procedures; variable during afternoon clinicHard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Willing to assist/train less experienced nurses. Assertive and confident in skills. Team player.Scrub colors: Scrubs are provided by the hospital. GSA is not guaranteed orientation week. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.Billing: Monday – Sunday **candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hours for a quick start REQUIRED EDUCATION:Associate Degree or Certificate HOLIDAY ROTATION REQUIREMENTS:Holiday rotation SHIFT NOTES:To be discussed with manager – Perm Placement
