Description: Specialty: Med SurgFacility: NMHS- TupeloState License: MississippiCerts/Licenses: Years of Experience: Shift: 12H NightGuaranteed Hours: Description: SUBMSUBMISSION GUIDE: – All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies. – No on call. – Weekend and holiday requirements – Hcp will be scheduled based upon need. – No block scheduling. – No self-scheduling. – HCP can only be submitted to ONE NMMC position at a time. – Required with submission: Full DOB, SSN and RTO – Must not have worked perm/per diem at NMMC in the last 12 months. – Covid vaccine and flu shot are NOT required. If hcp declines, a mask must be worn at all times, with the exception of mealtimes. ORIENTATIONS: Tupelo – RN/LPN Every Wednesday ATTIRE: Scrub color provided in UD. GENERAL INFO: EMR: Epic – Fingerprinting process must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance. – All RNs will be required to take and pass a pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%. – NMMC needs complete availability and flexibility with scheduling. This is non-negotiable. – HCP is expected to maintain their contracted position at NMMC as the primary commitment above any other type of work. – 1st week does not have guaranteed hours. – ALL COMPLIANCE DOCS DUE 7 DAYS BEFORE START DATE Requisition Comments and Notes:Orientation Dates: 8/13 Only4W MED SURG Surgical and Oncology ** Must have Charge nurse experience.**RNs needed at North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo. Float as needed between 4 Central (16 beds) and 4 West (28 beds). 12H Nights, 6:45p-7:08a with 30 min paid break if hcp stays on unit. Schedule rotation is 3:1:3 but Hcp will be scheduled based upon need. 48 bed unit. Patient care modality: General med surg, weakness, COPD, respiratory failure. Age range 21+ non-titratable drips, IV insertions, Foley insertions. Vent types: Baxter IV Pump, Telemetry, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps, Omnicell med cabinet. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 18 months of acute care experience required. Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma exp. Prior travel experience preferred. BLS (AHA) required, ACLS preferred. EPIC exp is preferred. All RNs will be required to take and pass a pre assignment Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm Strip) test and RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
