Estimated Traveler Rates
- $2912 estimated weekly includes 100% National Standards Stipends
- $59 Blended
- $29.95 Hourly Taxable
- Will not accept anyone within 100 miles of facility
Shift:
- 6-week schedules
- 12 Hour nights
- Weekend: could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends
- Every other holiday minimum during contracted timeframe
- On Call: none
- Guaranteed 48 hours
- 13 week contract
Requirements:
- Must live over 100 miles away from facility
- South Dakota or compact RN License
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- NIHSS Certification
- 2 years PCU/oncology experience
- Epic
- Previous experience with our types of patients above, including IMC/stepdown and neuro; ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications
- Drip Titration: most commonly – Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives
Facility Information
- Beds: 64
- Mixed unit with Med/Surg & IMC patients
- Pre/post-surgical patients, CVA, seizures, cellulitis, influenza, UTIs, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure with or without the need for hemodialysis, hepatic failure, gastrointestinal disorders and infections, soft tissue injury and minor fractures, and DVTs. Medication administration, titratable vasoactive drips, TPN/tube feeding, and blood product transfusions
- Peripheral IV, Midline, PICC and central line access, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, drains, and urinary and fecal collection devices
- Wound care, telemetry monitored patients
- Post neuro-intervention (preferred experience but education and resources are provided per unit if they have not had this patient type)
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
