Key Responsibilities
As the Director of MedSurg/Tele, you will:

• Oversee daily operations, staffing, and performance of the MedSurg and Telemetry units

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of nurses and clinical staff to ensure quality care delivery

• Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and executive leadership on strategic goals

• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory standards

• Implement evidence-based practices, safety protocols, and performance improvement initiatives

• Ensure excellent patient outcomes, satisfaction, and employee engagement

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact license, if applicable)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN or MHA) preferred

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in acute MedSurg or Telemetry settings

• Strong knowledge of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills
