Key Responsibilities of an ;Pediatric Ultrasound Tech:

• Perform ultrasound examinations for pediatric patients, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and other specialized studies as ordered.

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and proper function.

• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy.

• Provide age-appropriate communication and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families.

• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records per department and regulatory standards.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements ;of an ;Pediatric Ultrasound Tech:

• Valid Ultrasound Technologist certification

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ultrasound experience

• Must have Pediatric experience
  

• BLS and RDMS certification
