Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) for travel-based assignments in diverse healthcare settings. The OT will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to support the recovery and enhancement of patients’ ability to perform activities of daily living. This position is ideal for candidates who are clinically skilled, compassionate, and ready to adapt to various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional limitations.
• Design and execute personalized treatment interventions.
• Facilitate rehabilitation for patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability.
• Educate patients and caregivers on the use of adaptive tools and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Travel to various client facilities under temporary contracts as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification: NBCOT certification and a valid state license (or eligibility).
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel and adapt to new environments.
