Shift: Days, M-F, 7a – 3:30p
On Call – 4p – 7a, M-F, 1-2 weekends on call per week
Every 3rd weekend on call
Response time for on call is 45 mins
Minimum Education Required:
Must be a graduate of a Licensed Practical nursing program or a graduate an accredited Surgical technologist program.
Minimum Experience Required:
Recent experience in an Endoscopy suite
Licensure:
Possess and maintain a current license in the Commonwealth of PA required for LPN or completion of surgical technologist programed.
Must be BLS certified required
Under the direction and supervision of the RN.
The Endoscopy Technician/LPN is expected to utilize his/her knowledge of scrub duties as it relates to Endoscopy procedures.
The technician/LPN will assist with preparing the procedure room, equipment, and assist the physician in performing procedures in the G.I. lab.
Will assist in managing supplies and equipment related to endoscopies.
The Endoscopy technician/LPN will demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the span of life.
He/she must be able to identify each patient’s age-specific needs and provide appropriate care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, or adult patient
