LPN's in HealthcareLPN’s in Healthcare are a vital aspect to the Nursing Field.  This Infographic exhibits the importance of LPN’s.

LPN’s play an important role in healthcare.  Although acute care hospitals are going to ‘Magnet’ status and are requiring more and more advanced education, there is still a high demand and need for LPN level nurses.

LPN training is a valuable stepping stone to a career in Nursing.  As an LPN it’s easy maintain a livable wage while continuing your education to ASN or BSN.

The Case For LPNs

I have had the pleasure not only to have been an LPN but also to have worked with many LPN’s.  I value and respect the contributions of everyone in the healthcare field.  With the looming Nursing Shortage and the impending National Healthcare laws, I feel that the need is only going to worsen.  What are your thoughts or experiences working with LPN’s in healthcare?

Thanks! I hate that most hospitals are doing away with LPN’s. I think that they provide a valuable asset to our healthcare system.
