Gypsy,

I would love to pursue travel nursing.  I’m married and my spouse is retired.  Can he come with me?  I would love to be able to travel with a spouse?

This is a great question.  YES!!  There is a significant amount of travel nurses that I’ve met over the years that travel with a spouse.  Whether it’s’ a spouse that has a mobile profession or a spouse that is retired.

I don’t personally travel with anyone so I’m not an expert in the subject matter.  Hopefully some of my readers will sound off in the comments and give you some additional advice on how to travel with a spouse. READERS…what are your thoughts?

You would not need any alternate living arrangements when you travel with a spouse as you might if you were traveling with children or a friend.  I would however,  mention this to your recruiter in case the apartment has any requirements such as having all persons living in the housing listed on the lease.
